Power Engineering Laboratory of Tokushima University

The Tokushima University Power Engineering Laboratory was established in 1987 when Professor Miwa was appointed to Tokushima University. Currently, Professor Kidoguchi, Professor Nada, and 22 graduate and undergraduate students are working hard on research. With the goal of reducing harmful substances emitted from combustion engines and making effective use of energy, we are elucidating the basic mechanisms of combustion occuring in internal combustion engines through experiments and numerical simulations.
