Tokushima University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology have established “Tokushima University Education and Research Center at Taiwan Tech” in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology on June 26^th, 2014. As one of the commemorate events, the First International Forum on Advanced Technologies: IFAT2015 was held in Tokushima(Japan) by both Universities on June 26^th, 2014. After the success of IFAT2014, IFAT2015 and IFAT2016 were held in Tokushima(Japan) and Taroko(Taiwan), respectively. The IFAT community is honored to host the Fourth International Forum on Advanced Technologies: IFAT2018 in Tokushima, Japan. The scope of this forum includes a wide range of technologies which cover the following topics:

Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials

Advanced Measurement and Plasma Technologies

Advances in Processing and Manufacture of Electronic and Electrical Components

Optical Engineering and Imaging Sensing Techniques

Deteriorations and Retrofitting Techniques for Civil Engineering Structures
